PHP Developer / LAMP web developer

We are looking for a new PHP Developer / LAMP web developer to join our team. Experience of object-oriented PHP 5 is very important.

A number of our projects are Symfony-based, so knowledge of that or similar frameworks would be advantageous. Experience with Subversion would also be great. Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XHTML, XML, XSLT and AJAX skills would be helpful as your responsibilities will include bespoke development in conjunction with experienced GUI designers. We'd expect you to actively input your ideas both on the enhancement of our existing content management framework and on bespoke developments.

Ideally you will have a good degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering, or a related discipline, and you will have extensive experience of team based software development, as well as database design and development. A keen eye for the usability and the ergonomics of a system are as important as a mind for innovation and the ability to work effectively in a team. You must be able to manage and prioritise a varied workload and enjoy working in a constantly changing environment.
