As part of their strategic modernisation programme, Halifax has deployed integrated new media networks to fulfil their 'Branch of the Future' concept. It was within this context that Tui designed, produced and managed the system architecture, software and content of the entire multimedia development. There are six discrete multimedia units forming a suite of applications linked via an in-branch network to Tui web-servers.

All current 'Branches of the Future' are remotely administered by Tui. These developments form an integral part of the new branch environment which progresses the image of the Halifax and positions it as a modern and open provider of financial services and information.

This work won first prize at the Technology for Retail Banking Excellence Awards in the category of Use of Technology Within the Branch Environment.
