Connexions is the government's support service for all young people aged 13 to 19 in England. Tui designed and implemented internet and intranet/extranet sites for the largest partnership, London East Connexions. The intranet development was designed and built in house by Tui using open source software to create partnership-wide efficiency and productivity support applications including corporate directory, resource database, calendar, diary, alerts and message board.

The Internet site was built with the active involvement of young people at every stage. Requirements were gathered from the Connexions partnership and a board of young people and the site design was tested with young people as it was developed. Our consistent focus has been the target users - to make an accessible and useable site that provides for their needs.
