Web-shopping may not have had the earth-shattering effect some predicted, but it continues to take a bigger and bigger bite out of total retail sales. Shoppers are continuing to migrate to the web at a steady rate. Our experience with ASDA has shown how careful user-centred design coupled to the right business strategy can bring big benefits to the bottom-line.

Originally brought on board to develop the groundbreaking interactive TV service on Sky Active, we have since played a pivotal role in the redesign of ASDA web shopping. The improvements in the site are a result of our iterative process of prototyping, customer focus groups assessment and usability testing.

The new site, which went live in July 2002, is much more straightforward for customers to understand, enabling them to complete their shop quickly and efficiently.
